If you can’t attend a match or want to share your ticket with a friend or family member, you can forward it using the West Coast Eagles app. This article explains how to do that and answers common questions about ticket sharing.
Do I need to forward tickets if we’re entering together?
- Simply scan the first ticket at the gate
- Let your guest through
- Swipe to the next ticket and scan yourself in
Can I send a screenshot of my ticket?
No. Screenshots will not scan at the gate.
To avoid issues, always forward tickets properly using the app.
Tip: We recommend forwarding tickets via email rather than SMS, as SMS links are often missed.
How to forward a ticket using the West Coast Eagles app
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL WEST COAST EAGLES APP
If you haven't already downloaded the official West Coast Eagles App, you can do so by visiting the App Store (for iPhones), or the Google Play Store (for Android devices). To download, click one of the buttons below
STEP 2: LOGIN TO YOUR WEST COAST EAGLES ACCOUNT
Your login details are the same as you use to manage your West Coast Eagles membership account.

❗IMPORTANT: If you log in with a different email address, your tickets won’t appear.
STEP 3: TAP ON THE 'MY TICKETS' BUTTON
Once logged in, you should always see this first thing when you open your app.
The MY TICKETS button is the home for your West Coast Eagles tickets and you will be able to see all tickets for the season.
STEP 4: SELECT THE MATCH YOU WISH TO TRANSFER
Note: Only the current fixtured matches are available to be transferred
STEP 5: FORWARD YOUR TICKET TO FAMILY/FRIENDS
When you are sending ticket(s) to a family member or friend, please click/tap on the TRANSFER button beneath your ticket.
STEP 6: SELECT THE TICKET(S) YOU WISH TO TRANSFER/FORWARD
Select the ticket(s) that you would like to send and click TRANSFER TO
STEP 7: CHOOSING HOW YOU FORWARD YOUR TICKET
You can select whether to enter the person's details manually or have them pre-filled from the contacts in your phone. Tap your preferred option.
STEP 8: CLICK THE TRANSFER BUTTON
Once their details have been entered, clicked the blue TRANSFER TICKETS button.
What happens next?
- Your guest will receive an email or SMS with the ticket
- They must accept the transfer
- You’ll receive a confirmation once they’ve accepted
If they don’t have a West Coast Eagles account, they’ll need to create one using the same email address you sent the ticket to.
Tickets will only appear in the app once the transfer is accepted.
