Downgrading your membership may affect your seating rights. This article explains what happens to your reserved seat if you downgrade, and how you can retain it using the Seat Return Program.
What happens to my seat when I downgrade?
When you downgrade your membership:
- You may lose your reserved seat if your new tier doesn’t include seating entitlements.
- Your seat is released back into the pool and may be allocated to another member.
- There’s no guarantee you’ll get the same seat back if you upgrade again later.
Want to keep your seat?
If you’re considering downgrading but want to retain your seat, you may be eligible for the Seat Return Program.
This program allows you to:
- Temporarily return your seat while keeping the option to reclaim it later.
- Avoid losing your seat permanently when switching to a non-seating membership.

Can I get my seat back in the future?
- If your original seat is still available when you upgrade again, you may be able to request it.
- Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, unless you’ve used the Seat Return Program.
