Can I change the name on my membership seat?

Name changes on AFL home match-access memberships (including Reserved Seat and Flexi memberships) are only allowed through a membership transfer process. Transfers are permitted only between immediate family members due to high demand and a large waitlist. Here’s how it works.

Who can receive a transferred membership

Transfers are only allowed between immediate family members, which include:
  • Spouse or de facto partner
  • Child or step-child
  • Parent or step-parent
  • Grandparent or grandchild
  • Sibling
  • Immediate family of your spouse or de facto partner (e.g., their child, parent, grandparent, grandchild, or sibling)

How to transfer your membership

STEP 1: COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER FORM 

STEP 2: PROVIDE PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP

Acceptable documents include a birth certificate or other official documentation showing the family connection.

STEP 3: EMAIL COMPLETED FORM & DOCUMENTATION 

Send everything to membership@wce.com.au 

STEP 4: WAIT FOR PROCESSING

Transfer requests will be processed within 7-10 working days of receipt by the club, once approved.

 

❗IMPORTANT: Membership tenure does not transfer. The new member will begin their tenure from year one, regardless of how long the original member held the membership.
