How do I change my Reserved Seats due to medical or accessibility reasons?

If you need to change your Reserved Seat due to medical or accessibility needs, you can submit a seat change request during the renewal period. This article explains how to do that and what documentation is required.

Key Dates for 2027 Seat Change Requests

  • 2027 Seat Change Registrations Open: Late August 2026
  • 2027 Membership Renewals complete: Late November 2026
  • Final Deadline to Register: 4:00 PM (AWST), Friday, November 20, 2026
  • Seat Change Windows Begin: Early December 2026

How to submit your request

You can only request a seat change during the membership renewal period, and this request can only be submitted once per season.

  1. Complete the Seat Change & Upgrade registration form. This form is emailed to all Reserved Seat members from late August.. Didn’t receive the email? Please contact us via membership@wce.com.au
  2. Select the relevant accessibility option. In the registration form, choose the type of seating you require (e.g. wheelchair, easy access, shade).
  3. Provide supporting documentation. Upload a medical certificate or doctor’s letter issued within the last 6 months.
  4. Submit your request before the deadline. All documentation must be received by 4:00 PM (AWST), Friday, 20 November 2026.

What happens next?

Requests with valid documentation will be included in the accessible needs seat change window.

Please note: If documentation is not received by 4:00 PM (AWST) on Friday, 20 November 2026, the request will not be included in the accessible needs seat change window.

Accessible seating at Optus Stadium is extremely limited and cannot be guaranteed. If no suitable seats are available during the priority window, your request will be included in the standard seat change process.

Please note:

  • The club would like to reiterate that members who wish to change seats must renew their existing reserved seat membership by the listed due date on your invoice, in order to be eligible for a change.
  • The ability for members to change seats is based on existing Reserved Seat members relinquishing their seats; the ability to change is not guaranteed.
  • As Reserved Seat memberships are filled to capacity each season, and we do not often see large sets of seats become available.
  • If no suitable seats are available, your current seat will remain unchanged.
