If you’d like to update to an extra seat to your Reserved Seat membership, for a new household member or companion for example, you can request an upgrade during the renewal period. However, you must hold an upgradable membership product in your account to be eligible, such as our In The Wings membership.
This article explains who qualifies, key dates, and how to submit your request.
Eligibility: You must hold an upgradable product
To be offered an additional Reserved Seat, your account must include:
- An existing Reserved Seat membership, and
-
At least one upgradable product, such as:
- In the Wings membership
- Junior membership
- Flexi membership
Seat additions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

How to request an additional seat
You can only request a seat change during the membership renewal period, and this request can only be submitted once per season.
- Complete the Seat Change & Upgrade registration form. This form is emailed to all Reserved Seat members in September. Didn’t receive the email? Please contact us via membership@wce.com.au
- Indicate your request to add a seat in the registration form. Include details such as who the seat is for and any seating preferences.
- Renew your membership. You must renew your current membership by the due date listed on your invoice to be eligible.
- Wait for your seat change window. After registrations close and your payment is received, you’ll receive an email with your allocated seat change window. These are based on membership tenure.
- Access the Virtual Venue. On the day your window opens, you’ll be invited to access our Virtual Venue. This platform allows you to explore available seats and make changes based on availability.
Please note:
- The club would like to reiterate that members who wish to change seats must renew their existing reserved seat membership by the listed due date on your invoice, in order to be eligible for a change.
- The ability for members to change seats is based on existing Reserved Seat members relinquishing their seats; the ability to change is not guaranteed.
- As Reserved Seat memberships are filled to capacity each season, and we do not often see large sets of seats become available, it is highly unlikely that groups of more than four members will be able to find seats together.
- If no suitable seats are available, your current seat will remain unchanged.
